A small busy bedroom made into a dreamy coastal haven with a boho twist. I gave existing furniture a fun, personalized makeover – crafted a new headboard from scratch and breathed new life into an old dresser I got for free on Facebook marketplace. Then, I added some special touches – like the vintage IKEA bedside table I found for just $50. To set the mood just right, I brought in some Nelson lighting, giving the room that warm California glow. I painted a green accent stripe on the wall which adds a fresh pop of color and personality, added white curtains, a chunky knitted blanket and a washable forrest green rug. My client had some really exciting art which I reframed individually. The total material price for the makeover was under $1,000. My client says she feels like she is stepping into a coastal boho retreat every time she walks through the door, it is always a joy to hear a happy and satisfied client.
